Canada, here we come!

On our way to Canada we had one layover. Our first flight was late so we missed our connecting flight. The airlines put us up in a hotel overnight since the next flight out wasn't until morning. When we got to our room the first thing Caleb did was jump in the bed and climb under the covers. He looked so cute in the middle of this huge bed when he's just a little peanut.

Where's Caleb...

There he is...

"Now that I'm comfy... TURN ON THE TV!"

Our room was really nice. We stayed at the Ramada. We had a nice big bed, and there were some bunk bends too. I actually didn't mind that we got held up for the night.

The next morning we woke up and looked out our window and saw that it was snowing. This was Caleb's first time to see snow, and it's been a while for me too.

Caleb was so excited to see the snow he tried to climb out the window. You gotta watch how cute he is...

Pre-Christmas Christmas

Since we would be in Canada for Christmas, we had a pre-Christmas Christmas at our house. We opened presents that had been sent to us and our gifts for eachother.

We also had our Ward Christmas party before we left. I got some cute pictures there, but foolishly damaged more than half the pictures on my memory card (don't ask). This was the only picture of Caleb and Santa this year, and unfortunately I ruined the one where he's actually smiling.

Here's Caleb finishing opening up his gifts...

... playing with his new toys...

... and snuggling with his snowman from Brandon ...

Last but not least, here is a picture of our tree. It's a small table top tree. Pretty simple, but it worked out great. The berries were a bit redder when I first strung them and put them on, but it still looked alright once they all dried out.
